Sanctity of Ownership

عن ابي هريرة قال جاء رجل الي رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رسول الله ارايت ان جاء رجل يريد اخذ مالي قال فلا تطعه مالك قال اريت ان قاتلني قال قاتله قال اريت ان قاتلني قال اريت ان قتله قال هو في النار 
Abu Huraira reported, A Person came to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) and said: "Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), what do you think if a man comes to me in order to appropriate my possession?" He (the Holy Prophet) said: Don't surrender your possession to him."Said: "If he fights with me?" He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: Then, fight with him."He (the Holy Prophet) observed: " you would be a martyr." He (the inquirer) said: "the Messenger of Allah, what do you think of him, if i kill him." By this hadist, we know the important of wealth upon us. The wealth that we earn should be kept for our life here. Ibn Sina emphasizes in his al-Syifa chapter nine, article 2 about the important of keeping the wealth from any kinds of harm. In the five necessities of maqasid al-Shari'ah  also mentions the important of keeping of wealth. The wealth in this world is used for better life of human as well as a saving to go to hereafter by doing such social activities which is commanded in Islam: zakat, infaq, sedekah, waqf and other instruments of wealth distribution.
